The photos below give you an idea of what our unfinished dollhouse will look like when we are done with them. Each of the images below appears to be painted white, but it only has one coat of primer applied to all surfaces. Since we use 1/2 inch particle board, if we don't apply primer, you would have to before painting. We learned this when we purchased our "barbie®-sized" dollhouse for our daughter. We are just trying to save you a little time and make your finishing efforts a little easier.
Just in case you think finishing the dollhouse will be a simple job, the following photos show you some of the work you will need to do. At a minimum, you may need to do a little sanding and you will want to paint or apply some other type of final finish to the exterior and interior of the dollhouse before your child begins to play with it.
